Question by …: Is it possible to get a loan for plastic surgery?
I never worked in my life, but I’d like to get some plastic surgery. I truly need it.

I want my face to be perfectly symmetrical and beautiful. My eyes are ok, although I’d like to get some slight eye work done so that I look a little asian, but not too much. I want to get my jaw redone, my nose fixed, some small lip injections so that I have these plumpy lips like Vladimir Ivanov, and my chin redone so that it resembles Vladimir’s. I want my teeth redone, too, because they’re too straight and perfect. I want unusual teeth like Kate Moss, because they give her character. Mine are just so perfect that it’s unfortunate. If they could give me a gap between my front teeth, I’d be very glad. I’d also like to get my eyebrows pushed down a little if it’s possible to have a more severe and modelesque look, but that’s not completely necessary. I wouldn’t mind some small cheek implants, too. I don’t want anything over the top. I still want to look like myself. I just want to fix my flaws.

I don’t know if it’s possible to get a loan for that. I guess it would be somewhat expensive to get all of that done, but I’ll get a job after and pay whoever (the bank??) will lend me the money over a period of a few years. Who do I contact for that? Will they lend me the money? Can they do all these surgeries in a day?

Question by Willowtree: It bother’s me that so many persian women have plastic surgery, what do you think guys?
They say persian women are some of the most beautiful women in the world and I agree with this very much so. However, Iran is rated the number 1 place for people getting nose jobs, and if you look around the rich places of the United States, persian women and men, are likely to get a lot of plastic surgery on their face. Personally, I don’t find this very attractive. On top of lip injections, nose jobs, breast implants, they wear tons of makeup. Are there any photos of natural beautiful persian women? What happened to the natural look? And why are persian women so eager to change their God-given looks to look like a race they are not, like american’s. I say this because Persians are so eager to get nose’s that are comparable to the westernized look. Do you have any pictures of natural, no surgery, persian women that are beautiful? And for the men what do you think of all these persian women getting plastic surgery to look like something they are not? And don’t you think plastic surgery can make you look too fake and therefore, unattractive? Please let me know your oponions, thanks!

how do you explain guys drooling over jessica simpson lip injections-
beyonce and ashlee simpson nose jobs-
pam anderson and carmen electra boob implants-
and i can go on and on because most get airbrushed or have plastic surgery!
um plastic surgery gone wrong-
too much makeup it looks way different under the makeup-
not to mention practically bald under the weave-
but generally it does improve a woman’s appearance!
i’m not angry its just a question- don’t read into it that much!

Question by onlythelonely: Are you disgusted with plastic perfection?
I saw Heidi Montag on the cover of People today and I didn’t know who she was — I honestly couldn’t recognize her. I’ve never seen the Hills or whatever has made her famous, but I was disgusted and upset with her. I can’t understand what was so wrong with her, she wasn’t ugly, but I guess that’s what everyone thinks if they don’t look like Megan Fox (who’s had surgery). There were pictures of her husband in the hospital with her, maybe that’s why she’s so upset inside, he doesn’t love her. How could he if he’d let her do that to herself?
Something like that has got to be the worst form of self mutilation.
I’m not saying that everyone who’s gotten plastic surgery hates themselves and has ruined themselves, that’s not true. Breast augmentations and lip injections aren’t wrong, but when you do it for the wrong reasons it’s terrible. I would never be able to bring myself to get a breast augmentation or a tummy tuck, because I love my body, but if I said, “I love my breasts, but I think that would be something I’d really be happy with doing, not to please anyone else but myself,” then okay. If I wanted to be ‘perfect’ and was getting a boob job once a month and was changing myself constantly, I wouldn’t be happy and that’d be a wrong reason.
I probably will get plastic surgery when I’m older, around 50. I might get my breasts lifted a little bit, or maybe if for some reason I gained a lot of weight and then lost it and had extra skin or a really nasty mark I might get some to fix it, but the point of that surgery would be to preserve the body I’ve already been given, not to change it, just to keep closer to the way it was in my youth.
I crush on older men, so maybe I can see the sexiness of a few fine lines or a smile that’s a little deepened, but I think it’s natural to let myself age, I’ll still find myself beautiful because it’ll still be just the way my body is, and that’s what being healthy is for.
But seriously, can women not see the beauty in all shapes and sizes? Stretchmarks can look a little sexy and rugged in the right places, breasts are just as sexy when they’re perky and small and not needing a bra is a bonus, a large nose or squinty eyes (I’m hungarian and I used to hate my eyes) are just part of ethnicities and are real, raw features to be proud of.
I just got so upset today when I saw that magazine, that’s such a bad influence and I feel sorry for Heidi for feeling the need to change herself like that. I’m not saying all plastic surgery is bad, or all women who get boob jobs are shallow, or all women who try to fix their squinty eyes are ashamed of their background – that’s definately not true, but when they do it to be ‘perfect’ it pisses me off.
Huge boobs, bleached hair, bee-stung lips, cat eyes or deer eyes, size zero, is not perfect.

For some patients, both the needle and knife appear to be effective medical tools for quelling the suffering from migraine headaches. The disability from migraine headaches is an enormous health burden affecting over 30 million Americans. In a five year study, presented at the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) Plastic Surgery 2009 conference, Oct. 23-27, in Seattle, doctors first injected 100 migraine sufferers with botulinum toxin A to help identify the muscle groups that were triggering the headaches. Patients who reported improvement in their migraines lasting at least four weeks after the injection (89 patients), had surgery to deactivate the muscle groups or “trigger sites.” Since the surgery, 79 of the patients have been followed for five years. Of those, the outcome has been promising. Ninety percent (71 patients) have maintained the initial positive response to the surgery. Twenty-eight percent (22 patients) had elimination of migraines entirely, 62 percent (49 patients) noticed a significant decrease, and only 10 percent (8 patients) experienced no change. This 5-year data provides strong evidence that surgical manipulation of one or more migraine trigger sites can successfully eliminate (cure) or reduce the frequency, duration, and/or intensity of migraine headaches.
