Bulk Flow Analyst™ DEM Analysis of Slush Molding Process

The analysis was performed using Bulk Flow Analyst™ from Overland Conveyor Company. In the slush molding process, plastic resin is rolled about inside a volume consisting of a powder box and a tool. The tool is heated, so as the particles come into contact with it, they melt and become stuck to the tool. Using this process, users can find out what rocking and rolling sequence gives adequate coverage to the finer details of the tool. www.applieddem.com www.overlandconveyor.com
