Injection Molding 15.5 gr preform 7.3 second cycle time
Best cycle time with 96 cavity mold.
Video Rating: 4 / 5
BI Composites utilise an extensive range of polyurethane moulding, composite moulding, vacuum forming, natural fibre / woodstock and PU foam processes and materials to produce products for a multitude of applications. Whether supplying premier automotive marques, mainstream automotive products, leisure products or the many diverse industries where plastics are required, whether the volumes are large or small, we apply the same standard of process control to ensure that quality is built into our products and costs are minimised.
96 cavity in 7 seconds. Good cycle time but is it your molding parameters optimum?
Get a DEMAG, awsome bit of kit!!!
I am not impress…
Hey Mister Marley (I thought you were dead) : If Otto Hofstetter only would have optical part detection on their preform transfer. (Husky, MHT and TPS all have them) Hofstetter molds last a lifetime though.
Again – you run Huskys, that’s all. People in caves do hardly ever see the sun.
Yeah, preform is cold moulded 4g and clamp is black powder explosion closed. What you mentioned as time is the lock to lock – then there is injection, hold and cooling time.
You must run Chinese moulds
assume, all you know is Husky? You see, those, that live in caves, do not see the sun.
It is P.E.T.
Intersting. What is this machine moulding, and out of what kind of polymer?
husky s the best
No, it is Netstal.
isn’t it an Engel press?
that all is good, but krauss maffei is very simple for optimize,i change tools, and demag or arburg are very good when we need quality on 10,but km is the right choice for level (from 1-10)7
Husky are garbage, I work with Dline series machines 2 barrel and 4 barrel injection units, and an ENGEL will out perform it day in night out.
I need a production Manager with PET Preform experience in Ohio
Call John 440-243-5151 ext 230
that cycle time is a joke…you haven’t seen the fastest cycle time using a side entry robot. 333 ms..
cycle time doesnt mean anything if preform quality factor is absent. what about shrinkage (sink marks) etc?
I worked on a kraus Maffei PET machine. Had a verticle clamp and it was horrible. I’ve been to the Husky Plant in Luxemburg and their machines rock.
but dont forget engel too, of corse arburg is the perfect
All of you trash talking people need to post a video response of your machine doing a better job.
this puts the machines at my work to shame
Husky rules. No one can beat their HyPET systems and their 2-servo drive robot. This Netstal also has a slow Otto Hofstetter mold. Crappy part transfer (inferior airblow assist) & slow ejection. By the way, what’s the preform’s wallthickness here? 2.1? or 2.2?
Try running a 4mm WT preform on a OH mold.
And I don’t even question if tolerances of the preform’s thread are in spec…
When I was in Munich some years ago, I remember there was an KM PET machine.
By the way Netstal is very good.
Arburg and Kraus Maffei don’t have PET
Machines! How do you compare???
