anyone know what type of plastic the roller tray inserts are made of (see link).
they are very flexible and thin and have perfect properties for an item i need injection molded.

im not getting these molded, i want to use the samematerial as the properties would be perfect. cheers for the advice (first answer )

no i want to use the same material for an item i want to get made ata manufacturing plant.
i dont want to use them as the in product. just have an out product made fromthesame materialas it serves an almost identical purpose.

It’s probably polyvinyl acetate.
Just out of curiosity, how are you going to get these injection molded? Wouldn’t it be cheaper to just buy them? Also, my guess is that they were vacuum formed, not molded.
Oh, I’m sorry. I read your question again. I see. You want to cut them up and injection mold something. They are thermoplastic, (whether they are PVA or not), so yes, you can use the plastic for injection molding.
Wouldn’t it be better to use polystyrene or acrylic?
