I ordered this case tumbler a 2 1/2 months ago and have put more than 3000 pcs of brass through it with no problems and the unit has remained very quite for me. The kit is still available at Cabelas for 64.99 plus shipping at the time of this video: www.cabelas.com Products

Man you are rocking. You could be taking a shot of the component But never mind its great.
Thanks for the quick response. I am ordering it right now! ;D
Generally, yes you will want to clean out the pocket. I’m not sure how many total ours I have in the machine at this point but I usually clean brass from about 3 to 4 hours at a time. I’ve probably cleaned about 6000 at this point and its still running strong and quite. Thanks for watching!!
I am thinking of getting one. Question, do you still have to clean the primer pockets after it is done tumbling? Also, how many hours did you run it for?
Still runs great and just simply gets the job done. Still a very quite unit. Its processed thousands of brass and still seems to be the same as the first day I received it.
It’s now been a year or so. How’s it doing? Any updates about the performance of this unit? Thanks.
No problem. Thanks for watching!
Thanks! I may have to try one.
Messured the top of the bowl with my calipers and it came in at 0.180in. I’ve put thousands of shells through it and haven’t noticed any problems with the bowl. Probably around 8 thousand rounds so far.
Do you know about how thick the hopper/bowl is? I have heard that the thinner ones will eventually wear through. Thanks.
sonic cleans, does not polish, vibratory takes longer but accomplishes both with proper media and polish.
I am into metal detecting.
And was wondering if this would be good for cleaning coins with.
Without damaging them any.
I’ve been using my Lyman vibrating cleaner for over 20 years and it still works great. I buy the 50 pound bag of crushed walnut shells from petsmart, it’s the same stuff that other companies sell as polishing media, this is in the bird cage section. I just transfer into large plastic containers and it keeps for long periods of time. 1 bag will last me over a year.
well im only cleaning 200 ,204 brass at a time, and im pretty sure the sonic cleaner will handle that. Ive heard that the sonic cleaner gets the brass clean but doesn’t really polish it, so maybe ill get both lol.
Good questions! I don’t have any experiences with the sonic cleans so it would be hard for me to compare the two methods. The Sonic machines I’ve seen look pretty small which I’m wondering how many cases it can handle at one time. That would be the only downside I could see but then again its also much quicker with the sonic cleaners I believe.
alright right now im cleaning cases in the washing machine, as alot of beginning reloaders do, but Im looking at a couple other cleaning methods. Basically, sonic and vibratory, why should i choose this over sonic?
Thanks for watching! I may do another video on the cleaning process. Hopefully, I’ll be able to do that somtime in the next few weeks.
Great review. Thanks for sharing.
Not sure. Cabelas says it will do 650 38 casings but I haven’t tried loading it up with a lot of 45 cases yet. I’m guessing you could probably cut that down to around 400 with 45 cases but I’m not sure. You just want to make sure however much you put in there its getting some good rotation in the media.
How many .45ACP can it do at one time?
